Abstract

This research paper investigates the integration of creative and critical thinking skills in English Language Teaching (ELT). The study adopted a mixed-methods approach, using both quantitative and qualitative data from questionnaires and interviews. The findings suggest that teachers' awareness of creative and critical thinking skills is essential in integrating these skills into ELT. Additionally, it was found that the use of various teaching techniques and materials can foster creativity and critical thinking. The study concludes that the successful integration of creative and critical thinking skills in ELT improves language proficiency and enhances learners' overall cognitive abilities.
